About Me
I’ve moved on from a tech world of data and innovation to explore a different kind of creativity—one full of patience, reflection, and hands-on artistry. I’ve spent decades on systems and strategies, now I’m enjoying a world of sewing, seeing and sowing.
Sewing is meditative, and material; quiet hand stitching and a noisy serger all have their place.
Photography has often stirred my soul. I seek to see and reflect the power of quiet moments. Images that evoke something in me, perhaps a natural power, or an emotive one, or the power of aesthetic beauty.
As a certified Master Gardener with Alameda County, I love sharing my passion for learning and gardening practices. My favorite workshops are for early stage gardeners, helping to plan and create a vegetable garden that feeds them body and soul. Gardening connects us to the earth in ways that nurture our environment and our well-being.
I invite you to follow along as I discover new techniques, revisit old ones, and embrace the art of slowing down and growing—through a camera lens, thread and needle, or the soil in my hands and under my nails.
